Women's Hub
Available every week (please check timing and day/s of the week on the monthly calendar)
A study by The Co-Op and the British Red Cross reveals over 9 million people in the UK across all adult ages- more than the population of London- are either, always, or often lonely. Another study found that loneliness is likely to increase risk of death by 29% (Holt-Lunstad 2015).
Building relationships is powerful and one-to-one connections are an important aspect to individual and societal change.
Reaching out to someone can make a big difference especially if we are going through a tough time.
Regularly talking and listening to others can help put problems in perspective. By seeing how other people tackle problems and make positive changes, we can discover a whole range of strategies for facing our own concerns.
The hub is open to all adult women over 18 years old.
