Meet The Team
We are a small and passionate team of women who want to make a big impact on our communities and society.
Each of us has unique skills and experience that we use to enhance and support the lives of women in London.
Vittoria De Meo
Founder and Director
Vittoria is a qualified Independent Mental Health Advisor, workshop facilitator and mentor with coaching skills.
Vittoria works with a variety of organisations including Clinical Commissioning Groups and NHS providers. She co-facilitates away days, delivering training to hospital staff, particularly emergency staff and mental health nurses.
Vittoria is passionate about supporting women to become leaders in their communities, families and places of work. The women she has supported have gone onto playing pivotal roles in tackling issues regarding health and social care.
Vittoria founded For Women as she saw a gap in meeting the needs of isolated and marginalised women in North West London.
In her spare time, Vittoria loves cooking food from her native Italy. After seeing way too many questionable “carbonaras”, she set up The Italian Sunday Lunch Club where she teaches her friends how to cook scrumptious Italian food while socialising.
For the past 15 years Esther has worked in the charity sector.
Esther's passion is in welfare and she has worked for a number of national charities specialising in advice and advocacy, with an emphasis on supporting the elderly and people with disabilities. She currently works as an Advice Manager for disability charity.
Esther has delivered outreach services, coordinated helpline services and provided training for third sector organisations.
She is a strong believer in supporting women with the right tools to be empowered and to lead fulfilling lives and contribute to society.
Esther was born and raised in London and celebrates her Tanzanian and Filipino heritage.
In her spare time, she is happiest reading a good book or catching up with her latest Korean drama.
Junaina is a mentor and has over ten years of experience mentoring young people in education and charitable organisations.
Her interest in youth work and mentoring has also led her to further study and she is currently balancing working full-time and studying for a Masters in Integrative Counselling and Coaching. Her plan is to use this qualification in the field of therapeutic practice. Junaina’s passion is empowering people to uncover their potential and act on it.
A northwest Londoner, Junaina grew up in a Indian-Muslim family . She spent seven years in Toronto, Canada before coming back to the UK for university. She prides herself on being able to speak her mother-tongue (Gujarati) and understand the Hindi/Urdu in her guilty pleasure - Bollywood movies.
When she’s not busy working or studying Junaina will spend her precious rest time reading novels or poetry, swimming and looking forward to her Sunday Indian brunch with her family.
Our Advisory Panel
At For Women we are strong advocates of co-production and active participation.
That is why our advisory board is made up entirely of our service users.
We are proud and honoured to work alongside these incredible women who challenge us and help us design services that transform their lives and those of other women.
We meet four times a year to discuss what's worked so far, where we need to improve and come up with ideas for new and existing activities.
